Whiskey Girl
Fishing Vessel Whiskey Girl is one of two lobster boats, owned by Great Island fishermen, that were frozen in sea ice during the 2025-2026 winter.
The boats were trapped not far from the Orr’s Island bridge.
In early March, warmer temperatures, current and wind caused the ice to shift, creating open water that allowed for the boats to be relocated until spring.
